Join the Boys & Girls Club for “Noblesville’s Biggest Pizza Party”

The Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville invites the public to attend the inaugural Eat My Crust 5K on Saturday, Oct. 5 sponsored by Riverview Health and Hare Chevrolet. Participants can run, jog or walk through the streets of historic downtown Noblesville to make it back to the finish line to dive head first into a pizza party smorgasbord from local pizzerias and restaurants.

The all ages event will begin at 10 a.m. with the start/finish line at the intersection of 17th Street and Logan Street at the Club’s entrance. Ten local pizzerias will be supplying a buffet for race participants immediately after the event; they include: Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, Chicago’s Pizza of Fishers, Delullo’s Trattoria, Greek’s Pizzeria, HotBox Pizza, Mama Nita’s Pizza, Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano, Pies and Pints, Pizza by the Harbour and Pizza Hut.

Participants will receive a race T-shirt, a pizza finisher medal, a drawstring bag sponsored by the Indy Eleven and entry into the post-race pizza party. Awards will be passed out to the top male and female in each age category. Formerly the Noblesville Mini Marathon, the event has raised over $35,000 to support the mission and efforts of the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville.

“Our first ever Eat My Crust 5K is a family-friendly event that is inclusive to all ages and running backgrounds,” stated Becky Terry, BGCN Executive Director. “The goal is to get outside and see the beautiful landmarks our city has to offer while putting an emphasis on physical fitness before enjoying some pizza!” Walkers are welcome to participate, and strollers will be welcome along the course.

Multiple volunteer opportunities are still available for any individual, civic group, club, etc. to get involved and support the event.
