Two Carmel elementary schools were locked down on Thursday due to a search for a suicidal subject.
According to Carmel Police Department Lt. James Semester, officers were searching the area near Woodbrook Elementary and Forest Dale Elementary. During the search, CPD requested that students and staff at both schools initiate their shelter in place protocols.
According to CPD, the subject was later located without incident.
