Michael A. Crooks, born May 7, 1988 in Noblesville to Melissa Chapman and Anthony Crooks, went home to be with his maternal grandmother, Kay Skinner and paternal grandmother, Arelle Delph on July 1, 2017.
Michael was a beloved son, brother, father and friend. He leaves behind his mother, Melissa Chapman of Lebanon; father, Anthony Crooks of Noblesville; his dad, Richard DeWitt and step-mom Diane Dewitt of Noblesville; brother, Deven Crooks; sister, Danielle DeWitt; daughter, Ambrielle Crooks; fiancé, Heather Elkins; son, Ayden Harville; maternal grandparents, Leon and Diana Chapman; paternal grandparents, Doug and Ellen Stoops; and many, aunts, uncles, cousins and other loved ones.
Michael was a 2007 graduate of Hamilton Heights High School, where he played football. Michael acquired so many loving and caring eternal friendships and memories in his short time that will be cherished forever. Michael enjoyed many outside activities with friends and family such as teaching his kids to fish, riding ATV’s, working on cars, having bonfires and being adventurous. He was full of life, heart and spirit. He was a wonderful man that was taken too soon, but his spirit and memory will always be present in our lives. Until we see you again, our Guardian Angel.
Family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate Michael’s life, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Morse Beach FOP building in Noblesville.
The family has entrusted cremation to Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville.
