This week, former Noblesville Fire Department Chief Jeffrey Reveal received a ceremonial plaque from current Fire Chief Greg Wyant.
A portion of the plaque had formerly been mounted to the side of Ladder 71, a Pierce aerial platform truck which had served the City of Noblesville for 27 years. The ladder truck was retired from active service in 2018 when the city purchased a new 100-foot-tall aerial platform.
Chief Reveal was instrumental in bringing old Ladder 71 to Noblesville. The aerial platform, which was fondly known as “the old girl,” was the flagship of the NFD fleet for over a quarter of a century.
The current members of the NFD thank former Chief Reveal for his role in providing them with such an important and durable piece of equipment.
