Tennis: Teams win duals, begin conference meets today

The Hamilton Southeastern boys tennis team won a Wednesday dual meet at Lebanon 4-1.
The No. 13-ranked Royals swept both doubles matches. No. 1 Andrew Spirrison and Daniel Verde defeated their opponents 6-2, 6-1, then No. 2 Logan Hubbard and Jackson Bill were 6-1, 6-0 winners. In singles play, No. 3 Rohan Golla was victorious 6-3, 6-0, and No. 2 Paul Schneider won 6-3, 6-1.
Southeastern is 8-6 for the year and travels to Zionsville this afternoon for the first round of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference meet.

Noblesville also won a Wednesday dual meet, beating Anderson 5-0.
It was Senior Night for the Millers, who also head to Zionsville today for the HCC tournament.

Carmel, ranked No. 1 in the state, beat Brebeuf Jesuit 5-0 on Wednesday.
The Greyhounds travel to Ben Davis today for first-round action in the Metropolitan Conference meet.
