Davis will join the partnering brands in the nationwide distribution as Vera Bradley will donate 50,000 backpacks to disadvantaged students as they begin the school year. On Saturday’s backpack assembly, 2,000 backpacks will be filled with food and school supplies for underserved children and will be donated to Noblesville and select Indianapolis area schools

Over the last month, Vera Bradley and Blessings in a Backpack have worked together to mobilize communities, individuals, and resources to provide new backpacks and weekend food kits for children. In addition to backpack distribution, Vera Bradley launched a fundraising campaign in stores and at VeraBradley.com to support Blessings in a Backpack in providing children with nutritional food throughout the school year, matching funds raised up to $50,000. With a $10 donation, receive a mini backpack keychain as a thank you from Vera Bradley at verabradley.com/blessings.
