Duke Energy’s Government and Community Relations Manager Mark LaBarr on Wednesday presented Noblesville Schools with a check totaling nearly $10,000 in support of school health and safety. The funding will be used to purchase two different types of comprehensive emergency response kits for each of the district’s 16 school nurses.

“While Duke Energy typically supports STEM and literacy initiatives at Noblesville Schools, these emergency kits were a unique opportunity for us to support classroom learning by ensuring first and foremost that school nurses have the best tools to keep students and staff safe and healthy,” said LaBarr.
