Mavorine E. Bitner, 105, Anderson, passed away August 20, 2019 at Vermillion Place in Anderson. She was born on October 11, 1913 in Westfield.
Mavorine attended Westfield High School.
She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She was a member of Park Place Church of God and an avid reader.
Mavorine is survived by her sons, Kenneth Bitner, Jr., Elmer (Linda) Bitner and Ted (Gail) Bitner; grandchildren, Lisa (Keith) Bitner Keysor, Tara (Brad) Bitner Wales, Angela Bitner, Kimberly Bitner and Deborah Snyder; step-grandchildren, Matt (Lori) McDaniels and Lisa (Mark) Gunning; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bitner, Sr., parents, Otie and Ethel Sutton; and brothers, Frank Sutton, Wendell Sutton, LaVon Sutton and Edward Sutton.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Perry officiating. Burial will take place in the Summit Lawn Cemetery, Westfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vermillion Place or Kindred Hospice.
