The Westfield boys tennis team beat Hamilton Southeastern 4-1 in a dual meet Monday that was the season opener for both teams.
The Shamrocks won all three of the singles matches in straight sets. The two teams split the doubles, both in three-set matches. Connor Housefield and Christian Emigh won for Westfield at No. 2 doubles, while Daniel Verde and Andrew Spirrison took the No. 1 doubles match for the Royals.

Golf: Noblesville JV edges Zionsville
The Noblesville junior varsity girls golf team won a dual match with Zionsville Monday at the Golf Club of Indiana.
The Millers scored 197 to the Eagles’ 200. Erin Burt was the medalist for Noblesville, carding a 41. Other Millers scores were Mia Price 51, Bergan Zebrauskas 52, Sophi Stutz 53, Sydney Peck 55 and Emma Leming 62.
