After winning first place at a local pitch night, Aerial Fit2Fly opened its doors in Anderson on July 1, 2018 as Indiana’s first studio to offer the Bungee Workout™.
Just one year later, owners Lindsay Montgomery and Charity Rees prepare to open the doors to their second location located at the Hamilton County Sports Complex in Noblesville.
The Bungee Workout™ is quickly becoming a popular form of exercise across the United States and Canada, but there are just a small handful of studios offering these classes in Indiana. Currently, this will be the only location in the Noblesville area to offer these classes. Other studios offering bungee in Indiana are located in Lafayette and Clarksville.
The Bungee Workout™ works by wearing a harness, similar to a rock-climbing harness, which is then attached to a bungee cord hung from the ceiling. The participant can then perform certain workouts using the resistance of the cord to build strength and endurance. The bungee cord also allows for moves to be performed in the “fly zone,” which is where the fun really happens.
Aerial Fit2Fly’s Grand Opening will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Hamilton County Sports Complex. Classes will begin on Monday, Aug. 12. Other classes that will be offered include aerial sling, yoga trapeze, Kangoo, barre and Hip-Hop step.
