Brittany Kelly leads at Indiana Women’s Open

The leader of the Indiana PGA Women’s Open is a familiar one to Hamilton County golfers.
Brittany Kelly, a star for Hamilton Southeastern and Ball State University, is in first place after the first round of play Wednesday at Purdue University’s Ackerman-Allen Course. Kelly, the assistant professional at Carmel’s Woodland Country Club, carded a four-under par 68, making five birdies along the way.
Also in the top 10 is Westfield’s Jocelyn Bruch. The incoming senior for the Shamrocks is in sixth place with a 73, making three birdies in her round.
The 36-hole tournament finishes up today at Ackerman-Allen. Hamilton County scores appear below.
