Westfield Washington Woods Elementary School first-grade teacher Alyssa McCool was recently selected as a recipient of the Teach Plus 2019-2020 Indiana Teaching Policy Fellowship.
Mrs. McCool is one of 20 teachers selected from across the state to participate in this year-long program through Teach Plus, a national non-profit that empowers teachers to lead improvements in policy and practice.
During the Fellowship, she will take part in a course of study in policy and advocacy specially designed to help her develop skills to advocate for changes for Hoosier students.
