All aboard in Noblesville . . .

After several months of excursions in the town of Atlanta, the Nickel Plate Express will be rolling into Noblesville with an event beginning this Friday.

Passengers will climb aboard the Spirits Express, a sunset and cocktails excursion, picking up passengers from Forest Park in Noblesville before taking them on a north-bound cruise. The ride lasts about one hour and an adult beverage is included in the excursion.

“We are excited to have the train returning to Forest Park and the new opportunities it will provide for our residents and visitors,” said Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear.

The Nickel Plate Express will continue boarding out of Noblesville for various summer and holiday excursions.

“The Noblesville historic square is full of delicious dining options and quaint local shops,” said Dagny Zupin, communication and program coordinator for Nickel Plate Express. “We’re excited about partnering with these businesses and Noblesville Main Street to introduce our out-of-county passengers to everything the city has to offer.”

The Nickel Plate Express will return to Atlanta for boarding on Saturday, June 8 for an Ales and Rails excursion featuring Field Brewing, a new brewery in Westfield.

Tickets and train schedules are available at NickelPlateExpress.com.
