Janice “Kay” Cowan

March 4, 1943 – May 28, 2019

Janice “Kay” Cowan, 76, Fishers, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Northridge Gracious Retirement Living in Fishers. She was born on March 4, 1943 to Kenneth and Margie (Benham) Russell in Indiana.

Kay worked as a bank teller for American National Bank, which later became Key Bank, in Noblesville. She enjoyed playing cards and Mexican dominoes with her “Posse.” Kay was very devoted to her dog Mollie.

She is survived by her daughters, Michele Cardwell and Debby Findlay; brother, Glenn Russell; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and two nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Dave” Cowan.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
