Arcadia’s first Spring Market, Saturday on Main Street, focused on local artisans and craftsmen. Attendees were able to shop at booths with vintage pieces, hand crafted items and boutique finds. The event also included food vendors and a scooter/car show featuring classic models by Arcadia-based Cushman Company.

The Nickel Plate Express offered rides during the festival, boarding out of Arcadia for the first time since beginning excursions this past September. The Arcadia Depot, a 150-year-old train depot, hosted an open house during the market’s hours. The Spring Market marked the first time the Arcadia Depot has been open to the public since the installation of museum panels and interactive displays, courtesy of an Indiana Humanities grant.
