Midtown is set to debut its new vibrant Midtown Plaza at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 24 at 365 Monon Boulevard, near Sun King Spirits, Allied Solutions, and Fork + Ale along the Monon. On-street parking and garage parking is available free of charge.
A range of free amenities will be available at Midtown Plaza including neighborhood green spaces, community tables and benches, swings and big screen entertainment. The plaza will also serve as an interactive play area for kids and adults of all ages, featuring a pool table, ping-pong tables and corn hole. There will be live music until 7 p.m. and a commemorative picnic blanket for the first 200 people.
Remarks will be made by City Council President Jeff Worrell, Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation Director Michael Klitzing and representatives from CrossRoad Engineers and Rundell Ernstberger Associates.
