The Carmel boys golf team finished its regular season undefeated by winning the Muncie Invitational Saturday at the Players Club in Yorktown.
The Greyhounds carded a team score of 298, just ahead of Noblesville’s 300. Carmel’s Nick Dentino was the meet medalist, winning with a score of 69. All of the Greyhounds’ other golfers finished in the 70s, with Clay Stirsman scoring a 74. Carmel finished the regular season 103-0.
“I‘m so proud of these young men and their commitment to getting better every day,” said ‘Hounds coach Chard Reid.
Jacob Deakyne finished second individually, also carding a 69. Jaxon Stutz followed with a 75.
Hamilton Southeastern scored 320, with John Cherry scoring a 78. Westfield totaled 321; Drake Biggs was the Shamrocks’ low man with a 74. Fishers scored 336, Caleb Bopp led the Tigers with an 82.

Guerin Catholic won the Franklin Central Invitational Saturday at Smock Golf Club.
The Golden Eagles scored a 296, edging out Center Grove (300) and Floyd Central (301). Guerin’s Andrew White was the meet medalist with a 71, with Keaton Modleski the runner-up with a 72. Other Golden Eagles scores were Ty Gingerich 76, Ben Burgan 77 and Connor McNeely 80.
