Effective on or after Friday, May 17, Cumberland Road between Allisonville Road and 234th Street will be closed to all thru traffic for a road project. Local traffic, bus traffic and emergency traffic will continue to have access through the barricades via flaggers.
This stretch of highway will be resurfaced over the next approximately seven days, opening tentatively to all traffic Friday, May 24.
E&B Paving will close individual segments at a time (starting at the bridge just north of Allisonville Road to 206th Street, then continuing north from 206th Street to 221st Street, and so on). Each segment will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., then again from 6 p.m. through dark.
As long as workers are present, barricades will be in place and each segment will be closed to thru traffic. While workers are not present, barricades will be pulled and traffic will be permitted through.
Please use caution while driving through these areas.
