Guerin Catholic, ranked 26th in the state, beat Noblesville 4-1 in an all-county girls tennis dual meet on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles won all three singles matches with the loss of four games, then Shanna Shuler and Lanie Broadbent took the No. 1 doubles match 6-4, 6-4. The Millers’ No. 2 doubles team of Sierra Leach and Sarah Dyer won that match, 10-4 in a third-set super tiebreak.

All of the matches were decided in straight sets, including 6-1, 6-1 victories for the Greyhounds in No. 1 singles (Emma Brune) and No. 1 doubles (Lauren Littell and Leila Antony). The Royals’ win came from No. 3 singles Kaylee Etheredge in a hard-fought match.

Westfield has had a busy week, playing in three dual meets.
On Monday, the Shamrocks beat Pendleton Heights 5-0. Westfield won all five matches easily, including a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles from Julia Gabennesch.
The ‘Rocks lost a hard-fought dual to No. 1-ranked Cathedral 5-0 on Tuesday. Westfield’s No. 3 singles Emma Schwind and No. 2 doubles Katy Zaloudek and Maddie Heilmann took their opponents to three sets.
On Wednesday, the Shamrocks fell to Bishop Chatard 5-0, with Zaloudek and Heilmann again taking the No. 2 doubles match to three sets.
