Three Gymanworld gymnasts place at USAG Region 5 Level 7 Championships

Three athletes from Noblesville’s Gymnaworld Gymnastics – Kate Zile, Lauren Paska and Madison Hopper – competed for Team Indiana in the United State Gymnastics (USAG) Region 5 Championships last weekend in Boubonnais, Illinois. USAG Region 5 Level 7 Regional qualifiers from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Illinois competed for their respective States in the four day event at Olivet Nazarene University.
Zile medaled on the Balance Beam, finishing in a 7th place tie in the Level 7 Senior B2 age division. Zile also finished in a 12th place tie on the Uneven bars and placed 12th in the All-Around competition.
Hopper was a finalist in all four events finishing in a 26th place tie in the All-Around competition in the Level 7 Junior B2 age division while Lauran Paska was a finalist in the Level 7 Junior E2 age division on the Vault finishing in a 19th place tie as an event specialist.
Michigan won the overall Level 7 team competition followed by Ohio second, Illinois third, Indiana fourth and Kentucky fifth.
