38th annual Hamilton County Law Enforcement Memorial Service . . .

The 38th annual Hamilton County Law Enforcement Memorial Service honoring fallen police officers was held on Wednesday in Carmel.   The Hamilton County Police Memorial Service honored all of the Hamilton County fallen heroes of law enforcement.

Members from the following police departments participated: Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Hamilton County Sheriff Department, Noblesville and Indiana State Police.  Carmel Fire Department-Pipes and Drums participated as well.

The keynote speaker was Jamie Bradway, widow of Rod Bradway, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, who killed in the line of duty on Sept. 9, 2013.

  • Deputy Constable William Frank Carey, Carmel Police, June 8, 1900
  • Officer Francis Woodrow Castor, Noblesville Police, July 28, 1948
  • Trooper Richard Gerald Brown, Indiana State Police, Sept. 27, 1967
  • Deputy Marshal David Keith Brown, Westfield Police, Jan. 11, 1969
  • Master Trooper Michael Earl Green, Indiana State Police, Feb. 5, 1993
