Carmel school devoted to Biblical, classical education holding open house Wednesday

Coram Deo Academy in Carmel will hold an Open House on Wednesday, May 8 and invites all interested students and parents to come learn about the school’s mission: To educate kids and assist parents in their duty of biblically training their children by offering academic instruction distinctly and consistently Christ-centered and classical.

The May 8 Open House will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the school, 651 W. Main St., just a few blocks west of the Carmel Arts & Design District.

“We are excited to share our story and the stories of those who have benefited from a classical education,” said Principal David Seibel. “Utilizing classical tools of learning and a distinctly Christian worldview approach to education, we desire to graduate young men and women who, as servants of Christ, are equipped spiritually, intellectually and artistically to engage and shape the culture.”

Coram Deo is proud of its goals and accomplishments, including the 11-to-1 ratio between students and teachers. Its highly effective staff and robust curriculum provide a school option for families that emphasizes both scholarship and discipleship. Students memorize 500 lines of poetry and scripture and complete an aggregate of 50 speeches and papers by the eighth grade.

The school is now enrolling for the 2019-2020 school year. For more information, visit coramdeo-in.com and follow along on Facebook.
