The Hamilton Heights boys golf team placed second in a three-team meet Wednesday at Chippendale Golf Course.
The Huskies carded a 183, behind Western’s 166 and ahead of Taylor’s 223. Heights was led by Hudson Hochstedler’s 44. Kyle Kirtley added a 45, followed by Garrett James 46 and John Thuer 48.
Carmel won a three-team meet with Cathedral and Westfield Tuesday at The Hawthorns.
The Greyhounds carded a 305; Luke Prall was the meet medalist with a 73. The Irish scored 321 and the Shamrocks had 329. Seniors Ethan Lutz and Evan Bone each carded 81s.
Guerin Catholic’s junior varsity team beat Lawrence North 165-191 in a Wednesday dual meet at Pebble Brook.
John Spitznogle was the meet medalist with a 40. Other Golden Eagles scores were Matthew Gillis 41, Nick Loub 42, Michael Peterson 42, Zach Aigotti 44, Alex Ueber 44, Colin Hussey 46, John Ritchie 47, Liam Hogan 47, Seth King 48 and Cole Pappa 48.
