Sheridan’s Becca Merritt broke the school discus record during the Blackhawks’ Tuesday meet at Tri-Central. Merritt’s winning throw was 127 feet, 5 inches. She also won the shot put. Sheridan won the girls meet with 62 points, with Heather Barker placing first in the high jump and long jump, and the 4×400 relay.
