Hamilton Heights lost to a tough Kokomo team on Saturday morning by the score of 9-0.
The Wildkats were in control from the beginning, scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. The Huskies could only manage four hits, one each from Isabella Neiling, Adyson Baber, Alayna Baber and Faith Hittle.
“Our bats have gone a little silent here the last couple games,” said Heights coach Ken Olovich. This was after the Huskies scored 30 runs in their first three games, but Olovich was confident that his team’s offense would get back on track.
“We’ll get it going,” said Olovich. “Our defense has gotten a lot better, our pitching’s gotten a lot better. So we’ll get it all together here real soon.”
Heights is 1-4 and will play at Western on Tuesday.
