He was also a member in good standing of Hinkle Lodge #310 F & AM in Deming, Ind. Floyd also enjoyed his time served on the MSD Warren Township School Board as well as substitute teaching within the district. One of Floyd’s post retirement dreams was to settle in San Filipe, Baja California, a bay town with the motto, “No Bad Days.”

He is survived and dearly missed by his wife of 32 years, Cathy L. Clark; sons, Eric E. Carr (Jessica) and Christopher A. Hines (Angela); sisters, Pamela Newman (Andy), Marlene Carr-Baxter (Charles) and Barbara Box (fiancé, Jeffrey Bryant); three grandchildren, Ashton, Stella and Asher; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; and his two beloved dogs, Teddy and Anna.
