Chris Jensen announces plan to invest in Noblesville’s infrastructure

Noblesville mayoral candidate Chris Jensen has announced the fourth pillar of his Noblesville’s Next Chapter policy agenda, investing in Noblesville’s infrastructure.

“Noblesville has traffic and mobility issues and we have talked about plans to solve those problems for years,” Jensen said. “It’s time to implement planned projects that have been in the pipeline for years – and make it easier for Noblesville residents and visitors to get where they need to be, when they need to be there.”

“I work every day to help improve infrastructure and access in Hamilton County,” said Alison Krupski, Co-Chair of the Jensen for Noblesville Infrastructure Development Committee and the Bridge Program Engineer at the Hamilton County Highway Department. “Connecting people efficiently and effectively is about getting people to their jobs and businesses, and ultimately giving them more time to do the things they enjoy with the people they care about instead of sitting in traffic.”

The Noblesville’s Next Chapter Agenda policy platform is made up of four key pillars that drive Jensen’s campaign: Transforming public safety, protecting and enhancing Historic Downtown, strong and sustainable workforce development, and smart infrastructure investment.

“Chris’ infrastructure plan will aggressively tackle our traffic problem with a realistic plan that prioritizes Noblesville’s most pressing transportation needs,” said Chris Pope, Co-Chair of the Jensen for Noblesville Infrastructure Development Committee and a Vice-President at United Consulting.

Jensen’s infrastructure policy pillar is centered on completing specific infrastructure projects to increase mobility and ease of access in Noblesville:

North-South Mobility

  • Continuing the State Road 37 upgrade through Noblesville
  • Improving the South 10th Street/Allisonville Road gateway

East-West Mobility

  • Completing the Pleasant Street Economic Development Corridor
  • Enhancing State Roads 32 and 38 in partnership with the Indiana Department of Transportation

Trail Connectivity

  • Connecting the Midland Trace Trail through downtown and across State Road 37
  • Completing the Levee Trail
  • Enhancing the Riverwalk Trail in downtown

    Chris,
There are a number (big number of us) who live on the far west end of the city in the Harbours and along Little Chicago\Hazel Dell areas. The Wellington folks, consider them too. The new subdivisions out on the far East side of the city also have a new population that should also be considered. All the attention on Downtown? We pay taxes too. We have the majority of the city’s population. We love the trails but hate the pot holes and badley lit intersections. Speak of and to us also. The votes are here too.
