‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ coming to Heights

“Under the Big Top” is coming to Hamilton Heights High School. Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23, and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24 in the Heights High School Auditorium.

Dubbed “The Greatest Show on Earth,” the cast and crew includes more than 25 talented Hamilton Heights students. Sophomore Jaxon Smith is playing the role of Bryce Hawkins. Junior Max Stallsmith is portraying Mr. Marlow. Senior Nicole Tomazewski will be playing the role of Andy, a lovable pooper scooper.

The show is directed by Junior Gloria Merrell. Brooks Myers, a teacher at Heights, is the assistant director. Not only does Mrs. Myers bring her theater knowledge, but she also brings her experience from her time as a circus performer! Mrs. Myers was in the Peru Amateur Circus for over seven years, and her favorite acts were tight wire and trampoline.

Prior to the show and during intermission, there will be cotton candy and popcorn to purchase. There will also be face painters, a fortune teller, and performers to enjoy. Come one and all to enjoy this fun show.

General admission is $5 and tickets will be sold at the door.
