Noblesville’s Jeff Eads has been inducted into the Hamilton County Basketball Hall of Fame. Eads was honored during halftime of Tuesday’s Millers-Guerin Catholic boys basketball game.
Eads played for Head Coach Dave Nicholson, graduating in 1979. Eads was a three-year varsity player and was a key factor in turning the Noblesville basketball program into a winner. Eads played center even though he was just 5 feet, 11 inches tall and was named to the All-County, All-Sectional and All-Conference teams for two years: 1978 and 1979.
He scored 835 points during his career and was the leading rebounder his senior year.
Jeff is the son of Mary Lantzer and the late Russ Eads. Jeff and his wife of 35 years, Alice, are the proud parents of Jessica Pruitt, a teacher with Noblesville School System, and Michael. They have two grandsons, Emmett and Graham Eads. They all currently reside in Noblesville.
