ICASE is led by Noblesville Schools Director of Special Education Mark Booth, who after bringing innovative and successful special education practices to Noblesville, is now sharing that learning across the state.

Indiana was recognized for several factors including significant membership growth, a new mission, strategic plan and marketing strategy, and successful legislative activities that have positively impacted Hoosier students with disabilities.

“ICASE is very excited to receive this award on behalf of our 300 plus members, our executive committee and most importantly the children with disabilities in the state of Indiana,” said Booth.

“ICASE is a model organization for all states,” said LuAnn Purcell, National Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) executive director.

Noblesville Schools students demonstrated the success of their Unified Special Olympics programming to the national audience on Friday. The national CASE conference is being held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis and runs through Saturday.
