The Noblesville gymnastics team competed in a dual meet at New Palestine on Tuesday night.
The Dragons won the meet 99.875-84.525. Freshman Kiley Reisner had a good day on the vault, placing fourth with an 8.325. Junior Kayleigh Sahr was fifth by scoring 8.20, and Ella Deno scored 7.80.
“We are still able to produce a great team score for vault with a team total of 24.325,” said Noblesville coach Jody Ramey. “I was very proud of our vaults today.”
Senior Devyn Palmer placed fourth on the balance beam, and had a solid score on the floor exercise with an 8.025. Sahr took sixth on the uneven bars. Palmer and Reisner both had “beam sticks” on the balance beam.
The Millers were missing junior Olivia Mangin, as she was out with an illness. Mangin’s absence meant there were no all-around scores for Noblesville, but the Millers still posted some good results.
“Overall, we had a good competition,” said Ramey. “We can always improve in areas, but I was really proud of the team today and their overall performances.”
Noblesville will host Lafayette Jefferson and Harrison next Wednesday, Feb. 6, for its Senior Night meet.
