Guerin Catholic dropped its regular season finale on Friday, falling at Lafayette Central Catholic 54-39 in the Bishop Cup’s game.
The Knights led 12-7 after the first quarter. The Golden Eagles were within 21-15 at halftime, but LCC outscored Guerin Catholic 16-4 in the third quarter to take control of the game.
Nicole Cunningham scored 18 points for the Golden Eagles, including two 3-pointers.
Guerin Catholic is 5-17 and will play Brebeuf Jesuit on Tuesday in the first round of Sectional 27 at Bishop Chatard.
