Westfield got down early, but came back strong for a 58-40 win over Tri-West Tuesday at The Rock.
The Bruins led 18-12 after the first quarter. The Shamrocks cut that lead to 25-24 by halftime, then powered through the second half, outscoring Tri-West 34-15 during that time.
Caleb Welch scored 16 points, includinga two 3-pointers, with Zach Banks adding 15 points. Braden Smith collected six rebounds, with Benji Welch grabbing five. Banks and Smith both dished out four assists.
Westfield is 7-5 for the season and travels to Avon Friday for a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
