Noblesville Schools announced Tuesday that Noblesville residents are invited to submit designs for a community art sculpture to decorate the interior of a new roundabout coming to the intersection of Field Drive and Cumberland Drive later this year.
The winning design will serve as inspiration for a professional artist’s creation, as Noblesville Schools, in partnership with Nickel Plate Arts and the City of Noblesville, works to secure funding to bring this exciting project to life.
To be considered for the winning selection designs must:
- Celebrate and honor Noblesville Schools
- Exhibit classic simplicity that will stand the test of time
- Take into account the 360-degree nature of roundabouts and aesthetics of the design from all angles
- Be submitted electronically to wearenobschools@nobl.k12.in.us by Friday, Feb. 8
Designers of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate and may use any medium to capture their vision (sketch, paint, crayon, computer design, etc.)
