Westfield dropped its Hoosier Crossroads Conference finale to Brownsburg, 61-44 Friday at The Rock.
The Class 4A No. 6 Bulldogs got off to a strong start, leading 22-8 after the first quarter. The Shamrocks came roaring back, outscoring Brownsburg 19-9 in the second period to cut the lead to 31-27. But the Bulldogs took control again in the second half, outscoring Westfield 30-17.
Zoe Pentecost scored 12 points for the ‘Rocks and was one of four players with four rebounds in the game. Alyssa Crockett, Ava Henson and Gigi Eldredge also cleared four rebounds.
Westfield finished conference play 3-4 and are 15-6 overall. The Shamrocks will play their regular season finale Tuesday at Greensburg.
