The first units on scene encountered heavy smoke conditions and zero visibility. Units were able to aggressively advance a hose line and bring the fire under control.

The residents were not home at the time of the fire. The fire was first noticed by a neighbor who saw smoke coming from the home and called 9-1-1.

There were no deaths or injuries to civilians or firefighters; however, two pets succumbed to the heavy smoke and high heat conditions.

The Noblesville Fire Department was assisted by Westfield Fire, Cicero Fire and the Noblesville Police Department. The NFD would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to ensure their smoke detectors are functioning properly.
