Fishers City Councilor Selina Stoller filed on Thursday for re-election in Fishers’ northwest district, an area she has represented for four years.
As a councilor, Stoller has been a strong advocate for infrastructure improvements. Under her leadership as the 2018 Chair of the City Council Finance Committee and member of the Planning Commission, the Council oversaw extensive road improvements throughout the city. Improved areas include Conner Knoll Parkway, Allisonville Road and Lantern Road.
“A key part of making Fishers a great place to live, work and play is maintaining infrastructure,” said Stoller. “These road improvements are essential to keeping up with the growing population of our city.”
In her next term, Stoller says she will prioritize investing in aging infrastructure throughout the city, including improvements to Allisonville Road and State Road 37. She says also plans to pursue ways the city can partner with neighborhoods to promote community upkeep and beautification.
Another priority for Stoller is to improve services and amenities for senior citizens and retirees in the community. “We must be dedicated to our seniors. I look forward to advocating for state-of-the-art living spaces and facilities for Fishers’ older generations,” said Stoller.
Throughout her last four years on the Council, Stoller has been a key supporter of Hoosiers with disabilities. She is a member of the finance committee of INvestABLE Indiana, which helps individuals with disabilities save while preserving their SSI and Medicaid benefits. She also advocates for those with disabilities as a board member of Janus Developmental Services, an organization that provides needed services and job training to disabled Hoosiers.
Stoller is Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Summit Consumer Receivables Acquisitions. She holds an M.B.A. from Western Governors University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She has lived in Fishers for 19 years.
