Mike Davis, lifelong Noblesville resident, business owner and local leader, has officially filed to run for Noblesville Common Council, District 1. This will be Davis’ first run for public office.

“I am running for Noblesville City Council because I truly love Noblesville,” said Davis. “I’ve been ingrained in Noblesville for my entire life. It’s time for me to give back. It’s time for me to serve. Every day I count my blessings, and I’m thankful to live in one of America’s greatest cities.”

Davis plans to focus on Noblesville’s growing city through:

  • Making public safety the number one priority – in schools, neighborhoods, parks, downtown and throughout the city.
  • Building a brighter future by making sound financial decisions, proactive and proper planning and respecting the past while making decisions for a successful city.
  • Focusing on roads, parking and traffic, making sure the current and future infrastructure will support a growing population.

Davis will accomplish these three areas of focus by being fiscally responsible, using his business skills and experience, hardworking values and involving the feedback from Noblesville citizens.

Davis grew up in Noblesville, went to Noblesville Schools, and then came back to live in Noblesville after graduating from Ball State University. He went on to work for his father’s Noblesville’s company, Davis-Haslam Inc., which opened in 1974. Eventually, Davis bought his father’s company and has ran it for the last 25 years. Davis-Haslam Inc. is a manufacturer’s rep agency that sells wholesale fasteners.

Community involvement is a strong passion for Davis. Throughout the years, Davis has been on boards for the Noblesville Elementary Football League, Hamilton County Fifty Club and North Harbor HOA. Currently, Davis is the President of the Noblesville Redevelopment Authority Board.

Davis married his wife, Bobbi, in 1991. They have three adult children, Karli, Jake and Hank, all Noblesville Schools graduates. The family has lived in North Harbor for 25 years. Davis has enjoyed coaching Varsity football at Noblesville High School and is a big supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville and the Hamilton County Humane Society.
