Sheridan girls fall to Delphi in OT

Sheridan dropped a tough game at Delphi on Tuesday, losing 46-45 in overtime.
The Blackhawks fell behind 10-6 after the first quarter, but came back in the second to lead 16-12, allowing the Oracles just two points in that period. Delphi inched back in the second half to tie the game at 40-40, then outscored the ‘Hawks 6-5 in the extra period.
Heather Barker scored 20 points and pulled seven rebounds to lead Sheridan. Jillian O’Flaherty made two 3-pointers. The Blackhawks had 30 total rebounds, with Taylor Bates grabbing six and Olivia Raines, Berkley Williams and Holly Barker each collecting five.
Sheridan is 9-9 and hosts McCutcheon on Thursday.
