Fishers City Councilor Eric Moeller has announced he is seeking another term representing Fishers’ North Central council district. He officially filed with the Hamilton County Clerk on Wednesday.
Over the past four years, Councilor Moeller has been a steady voice for fiscal responsibility and advancing residents’ quality of life in the city. Moeller was Chair of the City Council Finance Committee when Fishers achieved a AAA bond rating status. Fishers is one of only a few cities in the state to receive this top rating.
Working with At-Large Councilor Todd Zimmerman, Moeller helped create the Zimmerman/Moeller Fund at the Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation to support the city’s teachers.
“Listening to what our residents want and collaborating to find solutions, we have been able to achieve important outcomes for Fishers,” said Moeller. “From supporting our schools and our teachers – to investing in infrastructure and amenities – we are making this a better city to live, work and play.”
Moeller says he is eager to help Fishers continue to be an innovative and vibrant city.
“The next four years are critical as we work to strengthen our impact with neighborhoods. I want to find ways the city can partner with HOAs to assist with public safety needs, neighborhood improvement and beautification projects.”
Moeller continued, “As we continue to improve city services, I believe we will see positive impacts from rebuilding Fishers Fire Stations 91 and 93, launching the Geist Waterfront Park, and the Nickel Plate Trail.”
Moeller is currently Assistant Vice President of Finance at FORUM Credit Union and holds a B.S. in Finance from IUPUI and an M.B.A. from Anderson University. He lives in Fishers with his wife, Beth, and two kids, Sophie and Joshua. As a family they enjoy using and visiting the Fishers Parks and the Hamilton East Public Library.
