Noblesville Schools announced on Tuesday that Hare Chevrolet and the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation (NSEF) have teamed up to launch a new program aimed at recognizing teachers and supporting the needs of Noblesville Schools.
The program kicks off for January 2019 highlighting three teachers at Hinkle Creek Elementary.

The “Hare Chevrolet Teachers of the Month” program will honor Noblesville Schools educators over the course of the August-May school year, with three teachers representing each of the district’s 10 schools spotlighted each month.
“Hare Chevrolet has been a strong financial supporter of Noblesville Schools for many years and we are so thankful to them for investing in this new program that will both recognize our teachers for their leadership in education, as well as provide ongoing support across multiple areas of need throughout the district,” said Dr. Beth Niedermeyer, superintendent of Noblesville Schools.
The Hare Chevrolet Teachers of the Month will receive a $1,100 NSEF grant for their school, courtesy of an $11,000 annual investment by Hare Chevrolet.
Selected teachers and school leaders will then direct the grant funds at each school based on areas of need such as literacy, low income student services, STEM, performing arts or athletics.
“This program aligns perfectly with our mission to invest in the excellence of Noblesville Schools, and to honor and support Noblesville Schools teachers,” added Adriann Young, executive director of the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation. “We’re excited to partner with Hare Chevrolet and happy to facilitate the Hare Chevrolet Teacher of the Month program.”
Noblesville Schools has approximately 650 teachers.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children and help create a positive, safe environment for them.
What are your goals for students?
I have many goals for my students, however my top priority is to encourage my students to continue their learning outside of the classroom. Learning can happen anywhere, anytime.
What advice would you give parents?
Being a parent is a difficult job and it requires time (that most of us don’t have). My advice would be to prioritize your time and devote energy to quality conversations/activities with your child.
What do you like to do outside the classroom?
I love to read and practice yoga!

Noblesville Schools is my home because of the people! It’s people, not programs!

Why did you become a teacher?
I knew I wanted to be a special education teacher the moment I volunteered in our high school Lifeskills class.
What are your goals for students?
I have countless individualized goals for each of my students. Overall, I want them each to be successful in their home and school communities to the best of their ability.
What advice would you give parents?
Read with your child every day!
What do you like to do outside the classroom?
I enjoy spending time doing anything outdoors with my family.

I became a teacher because I want to be the role model for my students that my teachers were for me.

I would tell parents that we are a team and I want to help their child succeed.

Outside of the classroom I love to read and be active.
