‘Hawks win in OT, are back at .500

Sheridan pulled its record back to .500 on Saturday with a 53-48 overtime win over Fountain Central Saturday at Hobbs Memorial Hall.
The Blackhawks led 27-23 at halftime and 39-30 after three quarters, but the Mustangs forced the extra period by outscoring Sheridan 12-3 in the fourth. Sheridan took care of business in the overtime, pouring in 11 points.
Nick Burnell earned a double-double with 12 rebounds and 10 points; he also blocked three shots. Drake Delph led the scoring with 13 points, Caleb Duke added 12 and Jesse Kolb scored 10. Kolb pulled nine rebounds, with Delph and Duke both collecting five.
Sheridan is 5-5 and plays at Delphi on Friday.
