After 18 months of intense training, the Carmel Fire Department would like to congratulate the community’s three newest paramedics. These Carmel firefighters spent hundreds of hours in hospitals, the classroom and additional time on ambulances. By studying and becoming proficient in everything encountered in the field, each of these medics will join more than 40 paramedics Carmel already has on shift. Every Carmel firefighter is an EMT.
