Noblesville’s girls basketball team lost an away game to Northwestern, the No. 1 team in Class 3A, 63-41 on Saturday.
The Millers trailed 23-10 after the first quarter and 35-19 at halftime. Mallory Johnson led Noblesville with 19 points; both she and Maddie Knight had two 3-pointers. Mallory Miller collected five rebounds.
The Millers are 3-10 and will play at the New Palestine Tournament next Friday. Noblesville takes on Southport at noon in the second first-round game.
