Westfield’s best and brightest Girls Rock STEAM in February

On Saturday, Feb. 2, Westfield High School’s (WHS) best and brightest young women will host the annual Girls Rock STEAM event at Westfield Intermediate School (WIS). This free event is open to all fourth, fifth and sixth grade girls in Westfield, not just Westfield Washington students. Girls Rock STEAM is designed to spark an interest in careers in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) thru engaging and interactive activities. The event is run completely by WHS students. Girls Rock STEAM runs from 9 a.m. to noon in the WIS gym and future science and tech entrepreneurs can come for some or all of the event.
