State Senator Victoria Spartz (R-Noblesville) was the guest speaker at the U.S. Army Recruiting Command Indianapolis Battalion’s recruiting ball on Friday, Dec. 14. The Indianapolis Battalion was recognized as No. 1 in the brigade for fiscal year 2018, despite recruitment facing immense challenges across the Midwest. Spartz told the Reporter, “I believe the military is a great opportunity for a lot of young kids to obtain some additional skills and also get post-secondary education debt free.”
