Riverview Health Auxiliary celebrated its 50th Anniversary on April 27 at its annual meeting and volunteer recognition luncheon at Harbour Trees Golf Club. During the meeting, more than 70 volunteers were recognized for their volunteer hours at Riverview Health. Riverview Health currently has 200 active volunteers who serve at information desks, as transporters, in the gift shop and in many other areas of the hospital.

In 2016, Riverview Health volunteers completed more than 33,000 hours of service, which equals more than $750,000 in savings for Riverview Health.
