(Above) Kendall Kalk and Drew Pennington were among members of the Hamilton Heights High School’s Active Support & Kindness Club (ASK) who passed out lemonade, “You Matter” bracelets and “Be the Voice” and “Stop Suicide” pins during lunch on Friday and at the basketball game that evening at their interactive display. Club members encouraged students to wear yellow on Friday to show their support for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

The ASK Club, sponsored by Hamilton Heights Youth Assistance, was formed at the high school in 2017. The mission of the club is to help raise awareness and to educate staff, students and the community on mental health issues and suicide. Follow the club on Twitter and Instagram @hhhs_ask.
