George J. Romer, 71, of Noblesville, passed away May 2, 2017. He was born on November 26, 1945 in Indianapolis to George Joseph Romer and Margaret Pauline Ard Romer.
George was a graduate of Holy Trinity High School. He traveled to several cities where he worked for Lazarus/Macy in the construction of their stores. For a number of years, he also worked for J. and S. Concrete.
He was a proud veteran of the US Navy having served as a Field Medical Service Technician.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by sisters, Elaine Purichia and Andrea Palin.
He is survived by his daughter, RaDonna K. Shearer; sisters, Rita (Denny) Hurrle and Rosemarie Krieg; brother, Jan (Patty) Romer; grandsons, Devin Channing Farmer and Levi Anthony Farmer.
Family and friends gathered on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Carmel VFW Post #10003. The funeral service began at 4 p.m. with Military Honors.
