Carmel picked up a win at Pendleton Heights on Saturday, by the score of 53-31.
The Class 4A No. 2 Greyhounds got off to a good start, leading 17-7 after the first quarter. The Arabians cut into Carmel’s lead slightly in the second period, getting within 28-21 at halftime. But the ‘Hounds powered through the second half, outscoring Pendleton 25-10.
John Michael Mulloy earned a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds; that included an 11-of-12 effort from the free throw line. Luke Heady added 16 points.
Carmel is now 3-0 and plays at Noblesville on Friday.
